This dataset comes from the Orlando Police Department records management system. It includes all calls for service regardless of where or who initiates the call. This includes 911 calls, non-emergency calls and officer-initiated calls. Calls that are of a sensitive nature when they come in or are sensitive based on the case that is opened from the call are excluded to protect the privacy of the victims. Fields in the OPD Calls for Service Data Set: Incident Number - Automatically assigned at the time the incident is created in OPD records management system. First four characters indicate the year the incident was created in the system. Incident Date Time - Day and time of the incident Incident Location - Block level address or intersection of the location Incident Type - Type of call Incident Disposition Class - Category of disposition given as a result of the call Incident Disposition - The disposition given as a result of the call Status - This is an information only field to designate if the City was able to map the Incident Location to a latitude and longitude Location - Mapped latitude and longitude to the center of the block at the middle of the street of Incident Location Disclaimer: The data is derived from the Orlando Police Department’s Records Management Systems, we acknowledge there is always the possibility of mechanical or human error.
